Corporate social responsibility at Madison Hosiery Limited is an integral part of our global business strategy. As members of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) we have adopted a set of principles that have been integrated into our Supplier Code of Conduct and also forms an integral part of our terms of business.
Madison Hosiery Limited is committed to exceeding the existing standards set out in the ETI base code, which is based upon International Labour Organisation standards (ILO). Furthermore, Madison Hosiery is committed to promoting these ideas within our supply chain and we endeavour to monitor, verify, report, raise awareness through training and work with all suppliers regarding ethical and social issues.
Daniel Cohen is the Managing Director and the Corporate Social Champion whilst Alex Abrams (Quality and Ethical Assurance Manager) has responsibility for discharging the ethical strategy along with Spencer Weiner (Purchasing Director) and Stan Andrzejewski (Quality and Ethical Control Manager). In this way, we ensure absolute control of the approval of suppliers for technical, ethical and purchasing activities.
